STATSnet sprl was founded in January 1999 in Brussels Belgium. Prior to that the founders Fabian and Oliver Thylmann had several years of experience in the field of statistical analysis for webmasters. One of their services from that time is Net-Trak, one of the first online counters on the web. Net-Trak was the first counter to include Country and Referrer Stats.
